Whichever building you stay in, you check in with her at 1915 North Ocean Drive. She hands you your keys and points you to your door, or runs you over in the golf cart. She has been at that desk for years, Avi to confirm.

The property

Twenty-three small hotels, each with its own name, side by side along the 1900 block of North Ocean Drive. One family looks after all of them. Pick any one and the same stretch of sand is a short walk away. Find yours on the map below, or in the list.

Five heated pools and breakfast every morning. A kitchenette or a full kitchen in every room, so nobody eats out three times a day. You park at your building and carry the cooler straight to the door. The beach is across the street. Twenty-three hotels' worth of rooms.
